Overview:

Finely detailed antique Edwardian opal, diamond & demantoid garnet cluster ring crafted in 18k white gold (circa 1910s to 1920s).

One center set old mine cut diamond is estimated at 0.20 carats, accented with a further 24 estimated 0.02 carat old mine cut diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.68 carats (estimated at J-K color and SI1-I1 clarity). The six opals each measure 3mm. The demantoid garnets total an estimated 0.24 carats. The opals are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.

The distinct and stylish ring is a great example of Edwardian era jewelry. The colorful combination of gemstones is striking. The opals show a bright color matrix and the old mine cut diamonds shimmer. The ring is ideal worn as a cocktail ring or as an alternative engagement ring. The mount has a slightly curved dome for a comfortable fit on the finger. The low rise ring rises 6mm from the finger (0.23 inches).

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
